It seems that while the pandemic and lockdowns have made our world a different place, some of the benefits are to do with how we are now upskilled in our online lessons and connecting with other people in different parts of NZ and the world and how easy and friendly this has all become!
As a result we're going to have a series of chats with harp people around the globe ..
.
The Zoom Room Harp Chat will last 45 (but more often, 90) minutes and you can book to attend ($10pp) Attendees will also be sent a video of the chat.
Open to all ages and stages! Harpists, teachers, students, enthusiast, parents……. All welcome! You can see from the promo video above that there are harpists, teachers, enthusiasts and some mums listening in too!
The structure of the chat ...
Intro to the guest and hear about what they have been doing recently, past and current projects, teaching and learning tips that they most like using.
Question time
If you have questions for the guest that you want to make sure get answered, please send them in the week before the zoom room harp chat schedule, so they can include them in the chat. There will be time for spontaneous questions too.
What is ZOOM???
It’s an online meeting space where upwards of 100 people can be hosted – we’ve used it for online workshops and ensemble rehearsal. It’s free, and when you sign up to the Zoom Room Harp Chat, you get a link and password to this specific meeting -you just need to sign in at the scheduled time. It’s a safe environment where you can spectate or participate – all at the touch of your mute button
