The original Dyades project was 2020 (as you can see below) but in 2023, when Josh was in NZ, we revisited a couple of the Dyades for his 'Harpist in the Wild' YouTube series. Thanks Josh!

Bernard Andres' suite of seven duets, named The Dyades, is (so far) my all time favourite set of duos for lever harp. Each piece is a little slice of life ... a little snippet of beauty, showing the variety and range of the lever harp at its best. They are priceless.

Over the lockdown I asked a group of gorgeous harpists and friends if they would record and video a part each of The Dyades - with a harp buddy over the oceans and as a result we have this suite of gorgeous duets played by a diverse group of talented harpists. Check out their own websites to find out more about each of them.

Dyades #1 played by Elizabeth Volpe Bligh (Canada, www.elizabethvolpebligh.com) and Eira Lynn Jones (UK, www.eiralynnjones.com)

Dyades #2 played by Anna Dunwoodie (NZ) and Raphaelle Villa (France)

Dyades #3 played by Gustavo Beakini  (Brazil/NZ) and Esther Swift (Scotland, www.estherswift.co.uk)

Dyades #4 played by Keziah Thomas (UK www.keziah.co.uk ) and Anne-Marie O'Farrell (Ireland www.annemarieofarrell.com)

Dyades #5 played by Eleanor Turner (UK www.eleanorturner.biz) and Adriano Sangineto (Italy www.adrianosangineto.com)

Dyades #6 played by Amanda Whiting (Wales, www.amandawhiting.com) and Josh Layne (Canada, www.joshlayne.com)

Dyades #7 played by  Alexander Rider (UK) and Ann Yeung (USA)
This is a very clever piece of editing work by Adriano - enjoy!!!
(look out for the harp stalker in Ellie's picture)
