A huge thanks to all who were involved in this amazing event! 250-350 people came through the doors over the afternoon to see harp performances, try out harps, meet harp teachers and makers.
Unfortunately, the lighting was poor in the venue, and our photos were dull and lifeless - I'll get some up here if I can find anything that shows the buzz that the afternoon contained! Here's the RNZ interview that I did on the evening before 100 Harps - interesting to hear Bryan ask if we needed to bring harps in from Australia!!!
A huge thanks to KBB Music - GM Andrew Chamberlain - for a fantastic rave about 100 Harps! It's great working with you!
100 Harps: The inaugural 100 Harps Expo in 2018 was a huge success and highly valuable for us getting established in the harp community but also from the sales we had and are still getting post the event as well. From the first email that went out on this event Anna was very informative, even down to car-parking and how the event would run on the day. Anna also always kept us up-to-date on any changes and as an attendee made us feel very welcome and an important partner in the event. The successfulness of this first Harp Expo in 2018 really comes down to Anna’s dedication and eye for detail. For KBB Music this Expo really put us as a business on the shopping list for those people looking to play harp for the first time or for those who are already on their harp playing journey and looking to take that next step with a better quality instrument. Our business has also benefited from Anna’s dedication to the harp community. She was an asset to us when we first start in this particular market with her wealth of knowledge and her approachableness and we now regularly see her and her students in our stores for accessories or harp purchases and she also recommends us as a business even to those asking for a recommendation on where to purchase a harp. If you have the opportunity to work with Anna I would highly recommend it, she has an eye for detail, a sense of the commercial aspect of doing business and above all a passion for what she does in the NZ and international harp community. |
