This year we have the incredible Adriano Sangineto as our special tutor - if you missed him at Harp Fest NZ 2023 you are lucky to have the chance to see him and get some in person teaching with him. It's going to be a blast. Also teaching... Harrison Chau and me! We're looking forward to it - get in touch if you would like to attend - early bird bookings close on 1 Feb 2024.
While the accommodation is a little rustic, we have great people, great music and yummy food catered to feed everyone - following recent trends in our eating (according to feedback from the harpies) we will be mostly vegetarian, with a bit of meat on the side, and be able to mostly cater for vegan, gluten free, dairy free and nut free. We eat well here, and food is our fuel, so no-one will be hungry at any time over the weekend.
Yes - Harp Retreat 2020 was the best Harp Retreat yet (we say that each year!!) Thank you to the awesome harpists and harp family members who came along, jumped in and harped til their fingers were sore, chatted and laughed until they were tired, ate yummy food to refuel, and totally engaged in, and enhanced our weekend together. It's a fantastic community - we had an awesome teacher, Rachel Hair, and a fabulous weekend was had by all. Here are a few photos to show you what happens when 30+ harpists get together for a weekend of fun in the bush and at the beach!
