Brandywine River, A. Dunwoodie
An original tune written many years ago when my first child was only a few months old, and my personal challenge (to keep my brain musically active!) was to write short but satisfying pieces for late beginner harpists.  This one is still in use more than ten years later. Part one can be played as a solo and other harps can be added and subtracted as the music takes your fancy.

Unto Us a Son is Born (French Carol) Arr. A. Dunwoodie
This carol has been arranged for beginner and a more advanced harpist (teacher?)

Hey Ho, Nobody Home (Trad. English) Arr. A. Dunwoodie
This was arranged for a beginner harp trio - eventually they got bold enough to play two parts at once!

The Fingering Game - a game for beginner students
I've used this game with a large number of beginners of all ages - its just about getting your fingers on the harp...again and again and again.

Basic Note Naming Practise - Treble Clef
This is the resource I give my beginners when they are learning to read music - they can do these sheets repeatedly until they know it well.
After they have these sheets well learnt, they move on to my speedy notes sheets (speed reading tests for treble or bass clef)
