Below is a list of schools I am available to teach at during school hours. While every effort is made to find suitable lesson times at each school, this is dependent on a minimum number of students, and availability of lesson times. It is not economical for me to go to a school for fewer than four students (or two hours teaching).  On expressing interest in lessons, students will be told if there are not enough students to start, or continue lessons, and every effort will be made to fit the students into suitable lesson times at my home-based studio in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, until student numbers increase at that school.  All lessons at schools are held in school hours.

Skype lessons are available by negotiation
I like to meet and work with students before starting with Skype lessons as sometimes technical issues can intrude into a Skype lesson, so I feel if I know more about the student and their ability before we start I am able to teach better through any technical issues, giving the student the best lesson we can achieve.

Diocesan for Girls (2014-)  Lessons Mondays 2018
Baradene College (2013-) Lessons Wednesdays. Baradene students only.
Pinehurst, Albany (2017-)  Lessons Thursdays. Pinehurst Students only

St Kentigern's College (2008-)
St Cuthberts College (2009-)

I would love to hear from any Boys Schools who would like harp lessons for their students.  It's my current passion to get more males into harping  - hey - it all started with males playing the harp (well, all instruments I believe), and in the harping world, it was the Victorian era that caused the great gender switch where it was seen to be a delightful feminine pastime - to partake in activities such as playing the piano or harp and singing (among other things!). After that it has been seen as a 'female' instrument ... we need to shift the balance back to the males again!!!
